Frequently asked questions

How will I get value from my podcast?

Podcasting is a very effective way of raising awareness and building your profile among your target audiences. You’ll be able to track how many people download your podcast, which will give you an idea of how it’s increasing your exposure. There are other metrics too: Our recent podcast series for the Refugee Council helped the organisation raise £45,000 in just one month, increased website traffic and boosted direct debit pledges.

Why can’t we produce our podcast in-house?

You can, but do you want to redirect your resources in this way? Your staff may spend a lot of time producing something that lacks the polish you’re looking for – and takes them away from other work they should be doing. However, if your budget doesn't stretch to outsourcing production, we'd be happy to train your staff to produce your own podcasts, as well as advising on set up and equipment. Read more about our training services.

Why should I choose AUDIO for the web?

In a word, quality. Our production standards are higher than those of many of our competitors, and because our approach is essentially journalistic, our creative input tends to be greater, leading to a more engaging product. And then there's the small matter of cost. Because AUDIO for the web is a boutique operation with low overheads, our prices are very reasonable. So you'll end up with a better quality product at a lower price.

How do you price your services?

We operate a flexible pricing structure based on your requirements, your budget and the shape of the finished product. A fully produced, narrated package will cost more than a straightforward interview, but might deliver more value. We’d be happy to discuss your ideas and can offer discounts in some circumstances.

What our clients say

“We asked AUDIO for the web to produce a series of podcast interviews for the Refugee Council to highlight our work supporting vulnerable women. The podcasts were very powerful and moving, and feedback was always very positive. Rachel Salaman’s professionalism and sensitivity in conducting the interviews with our vulnerable clients was invaluable to us, and the final production exceeded our expectations. This was testified by us receiving the Time Out Podcast of the Week nomination. ”
