A study by Edison Research shows that awareness of podcasting has doubled since 2006, with audiences reaching 70 million in 2010 in the US alone.
A survey by Storm/Universal McCann reports that 32 percent of respondents increased their podcast use in the past six months.
In the same survey, 58 percent of respondents said they would welcome podcast versions of traditional marketing information.
