Case Study
Islington Council

Heatwave is Islington Council's summer programme of activities for young people. To increase interest and participation, the council asked us to produce four short, punchy podcasts aimed at young people, each one showcasing a different youth programme.

We knew that peer-to-peer communication works well for this type of podcast, so we spent time with people involved in the various activities and captured their thoughts and opinions in audio. This material was then edited together with music and sound effects to give a rounded picture of these summer programmes.

The podcasts were released one by one, in the four weeks leading up to the summer holidays.

Here are three of them:

Arsenal Kickz, a football project for young people (4:19)
